Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
At Greenwell Point Public School our school leaders run our school assemblies and our end of year presentation day. This gives them the opportunity to speak in front of an audience of students, parents and guests.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Greenwell Point Public School choir participates in the Shoalhaven Music Festival held each year with other public schools from our region.
Trips and excursions
Whether it be walking around the Greenwell Point foreshore, local or our Years 5 & 6 end of year excursions to either Canberra, The Tops at Stanwell Tops or Cockatoo Island in Sydney, our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore and learn new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
